Movement in Charcoal
This peice was inspired by William Kentridge. I chose to do a horse to follow my theme, and have the horse standing still, but also show the movement of the horse galloping freely. This isn't my best peice, and the buttocks of the horse look awkward, but I do like the idea of showing movent in a still object.

Printing...
Forshortening (:
This Peice is one that I'm really happy with.. I like the way the horse is cartoonish, but also realistic. The peice was created using watercolors in the style of forshortening, and my inspiration for the main ideas (The horse) is my own horse Captain Jack; therfore, the title of the peice is "Captain Jack". I do feel like there was alot of space left over...

Prismacolor
My peice formed as an idea of using things that were close to me personally...while staying on task with my theme. I really and happy with the way my work turned out int he end..I like the values, and the softer texture of the wooden table. Some problems I had were recreating the effect of the glass, and its shadows/highlights.

Precisionism
The project was inspired by the artist Edmund Lewandowski. We took pictures individually of places or objects in our town and painted thwm using the idea of precisionism using acrylic poymer as our medium. Some problems I has were woking on on getting the lines to a precise point, and working on a smooth and realistic gradient. My individual peice was 9"x 12"
